Whether you want to win on or off the pitch, you have to have the best people in the right roles.
Usually, everything starts by understanding the organization’s needs, goals, opportunities, and challenges. We need to analyze the current structure and the people well before we can take any action. Then we establish a map to demonstrate the missing skills and experience or that might be somewhere else hidden in the organization. If this is the case, we start moving pieces internally before even going outside and looking for the talent currently missing in the organization.
When it’s time to look for the best talent in the market, first, it’s crucial to understand which channels and tools should be used to reach the best candidates. Having the proper ATS (Applicant Tracking System) in place is obligatory. Putting a lot of emphasis on Employer Branding is also key as well as to the whole recruitment process and not forgetting the candidate experience.
I work always closely with the hiring managers to make sure that they don’t commit the most common errors when making the hiring decisions. I will also make sure that the new hires will not be left alone and the adequate onboarding plan and processes are in place.
Since the early days of my Business Career, I was always very much interested in becoming successful in the international markets. My studies have always focused on that as well as my personal goals.
After moving to Madrid, Spain, in 2014, I’ve helped dozens of companies land, grow, and succeed in international markets worldwide.
In 2016 I launched an international headhunting network that I took into 43 different countries. At the end of 2021, I made an exit and sold my shares to an investment company, which became one of the company’s principal shareholders.
Since the Internet and later on Social Media was born and become the mainstream, I’ve always understood their importance as part of the business.
My first big success came in 2013 when I implemented the online and social media strategy for InHunt Group in Finland – a strategy that has generated more than 1000 business inquiries, hundreds of new clients, and millions € of new revenue. Thanks in part to that strategy, InHunt has become the biggest headhunting company in Finland and gets today a tremendous amount of visibility and attention in different channels.
I’ve also dedicated a lot of my own time to understanding digitalization and its opportunities for every business. I have my own small Digital Growth Agency (Digigrowth.es), with which I’ve done many successful projects for different companies.
I have over 20 years of experience in sales, especially in a B-to-B environment. I’ve sold everything from laptops and mobile devices to the professional kitchen equipment, sales coaching service, software, and global headhunting services.
Moreover, I have written over 400 blogs. I’ve published over 10.000 posts on different social media channels. I’ve run hundreds of targeted online ad campaigns in various ad networks like Google, Facebook / Instagram, and LinkedIn.
I’ve designed dozens of web pages and kept improving and optimizing them by using different SEO, analytics, and heat map tools.
During the last ten years, I’ve spent much of my time understanding all this digital landscape and how we can generate growth there. I’ve gone through various online courses and spent hundreds of hours reading, learning, and watching videos related to growth.
Many times all these actions go under the term “Growth Hacking” which means understanding the whole digital, marketing, sales, online, programming, customer experience, revenue models landscape. How to generate more leads, close more deals, create new business models, improve conversions, generate more revenues, increase the customer lifetime value, reduce the churn rate, and the list goes on.
